users with coupon code given lifetime membership!!

We have a plan which is for 1 year

 

We raised a coupon code for some of our members to subscribe for the first year for free

 

When they used the code (for the plan shown above) it set them as lifetime members. and now I do not know how to put an expiry date on their subscription.

 

Can you help me work it out please.

Hi Alison

That happens because the Apply For of the coupon set to All Payments. Please edit the coupon, set Apply For to Only First Payment and the issue won't happen again in the future

For the subscription record, we do not allow editing the expired date of a lifetime subscription. So for that, we will have to edit it via database. Please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site so that I can help doing that
