Choose plan from form and disabling PayPal was created by Alison
Hi Tuan
Can you help answer the following please...
1. Is it possible to have a drop down at the top of a Membership Form where they choose which type of membership they need? In other words can we put a list of plans as a drop down on the form?
The reason we are looking for this is because there are several levels of membership (i.e. they choose UK and then they choose a UK option - i.e. annual, monthly or student) and we are trying to reduce clicks.
2. If we disable the PayPal plugin on MP will it still know to take recurring payments via paypal for those already set up.
We do not want any new members to sign up using PayPal (we are using stripe) but we still want current subscribers recurring payments to be taken.
3. would it be possible to set the editing of subscription records in the backend so that Managers do not have to complete required fields and that required fields are only requjired in the front end form (this would save us hours of headaches).
Thanks very much in advance for your response.

Hi Alison
1. We do not support this option at the moment
2. You cannot disable it. However, you can set Access Level to Special or Super Users, so public users cannot see it on sign up but renewal for recurring subscription will still work properly
3. Go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Validate Backend Subscription Form Data config option to No and it will address the concern
Regards,
Tuan
