Membership Pro Auto Add Event option? was created by Martijn Hartong
Hi Tuan,
Perhaps I'm missing something, because with EventBooking it is possible to add MP subscription. In this case I try to add a standard event registration to a MP subscription. Is this possible without import and link a plan/ user to an event?
Thanks,
Marty

Hi Marty
Unfortunately, we currently does not have any plugin to allow registering subscriber to an event when he subscribed for your subscription plan

Hi Tuan,
Looking at the AutoMembership plugin I will try this with another MP plugin.
Then again, user group assignment from the backend would give more control over flow.
Not sure yet. Will start with im/export first.
Thanks

Yes. You will need to develop a new plugin to handle the requirement. I do not understand your question about user group assignment from the backend

Hi Tuan,
In the backend it is possible to select a user as new registrant for event. Perhaps it is possible to assign multiple users or complete user groups to an event. Just a thought.
Thanks,
Martijn

I understand. The logic would be that certain MP plans include some EB events for free.
Thanks

I see. In this case, you can develop a plugin for Membership Pro so that you can choose the events inside each plan and when someone subscribe for the plan, he will be registered automatically to the configured events

Hi Tuan,
Is it possible to use onMembershipUpdate inside plugin and call it from backend? Same plugin works with onMembershipActive with register or import, but I want to synchronize changes like events from backend as well. I checked with userprofile plugin.
Thanks,
Martijn

Yes. The onMembershipUpdate event trigger will be called when a subscription record is edited and saved from backend
