Hi,

We have changed the amount of the membership from $20 in 2024 to $50 in 2025 - www.saskyoungag.ca/member.html . I have changed the amount in the renew portion of the plan, is there another place I need to change it for recurring memberships? A renewal went through Paypal automatically today, but the renewal didn't register with the Membership software, the payment wasn't for $50 but only $20 and notifications were not sent to the admin either (since the renewal didn't come through the Membership software). Can you please help?

Hi

In short, when you change price of the subscription plan, it will only affect the new subscribers, not existing subscribers. For existing subscribers, they will continue being charged for old price, not the new price because the old price was registered with payment gateway at the time users sign up and Membership Pro could not changed in

In your case, if you want to change the price of existing subscriptions, please login to your PayPal account, find these existing recurring payment profiles and see if you can change the amount from there

For the other issue, are you saying that when renewal happens, no renewal subscription record is created in Membership Pro?

Yes, that is correct. A renewal for a recurring member payment went through Paypal yesterday, but the membership didn't renew in the Membership Pro software. They should be renewed into 2026 now but the account still shows 2025.

It could be because PayPal did not notify Membership Pro about the payment for some reasons. For this, please go to joomdonation.com/support-tickets.html , submit a support ticket and I guide you for the next step to check it
