Collect credit card info through Paypal Pro with free membership

I'm already using the Membership Pro software on a website and I was wondering if it's possible to offer students a free membership for their first year, but requiring them to enter their credit card so that then their membership auto renews the second year, they can automatically be charged for the second year. Is this something that would be possible to set up within Membership Pro?

Yes. You can setup a recurring subscription plan with Trial Duration set to 1 Year and Trial Amount set to 0. See docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/basi...-with-trial-duration for sample setup parameters
