Any way to search for edited/updated subscription profile was created by Ben Sevier
Since we are building our site as a portal, where members can manage their subscriptions/memberships AND edit their profile information online (address, phone, etc.), we are looking for a way to do a subscription/subscriber search for subscriptions/subscriber records that have been so edited. This way we could get an export of changed records to use in the office to update different files kept there (postal mailing, etc.
In looking at the subscribers table there is no field capturing a record edit (which is odd for a database - all my tables in database systems I've created have such a field), so may not be available. If not, please add to wishlist! If it isn't, we will have to add a contact form for members to request changes, which kinda defeats the idea of a portal.

Hi Ben
You can configure the system to send notification email to you when subscribers update their profile data. Assume we have a field in database to tell you that a record is updated, when should that be reset ?
Regards,
Tuan

Tuan - thank you for the response. The Joomla email that gets sent out on a user change is a start, and we are using the field mapping in MP to Joomla to work very nicely. That email contains no information other than the user name (probably some way to edit that, haven't looked), but we could use the user name to go into MP and find the updated record and export it. Usable, but when dealing with office staff (overworked, underpaid and not enough of them) a little more manual than some other ways.
An ideal situation would be a way to search the MP subscriptions for an edited subscription just like we do for the new and renewable subscription transactions (we are using created date) to pull up the edited records for one of the durations in the search menu. Receiving the "profile change" email from the system would trigger one of the staff to go into MP, do the search and then export down to our office membership database system for updating the records there, and in the case of address changes that system would use our address verification system (against the USPS web site API). To me, the simple way to set that up would be a field in the subscribers table that is updated with the current date when a record is updated, and then the subscriptions management screen could search that field using the same type of choices the current view uses
Hopefully that makes a bit more sense.
