Enable Renewal on Recurring Subscription

Hello,

Should I have the option "Enable Renewal" on for plans that have "Recurring Subscription" on? If I disable it will the plan still renew automatically?

Hi Nathan

You should keep Enable Renewal set to Yes, even for recurring plan. If you set it to No, subscription will still continue being renewed automatically

However, with that set to No, if the subscription was cancelled for some reasons (admin or user cancel it for example), users cannot re-subscribe for that same plan. So better, set it to Yes

Thank you. I had an issue where a group member was able to see the renew button for the group they were in even though they weren't the admin. They were previously in a different non-group account and they were able to renew that too (which makes sense) but they should not be able to renew the group account. Is this an error?

Yes. Group member should not be allowed to renew subscription, only group admin or normal subscribers can renew. For this, we will need to check it directly on your site. Please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site, that user account and link to the page which he can renew the subscription

I will check to see what's wrong here and guide you to correct it
