Member Card was created by Jim Clementi
I am having a lot of issues attempting to create a member card. Although I have created something that is somewhat usable, it doesn't really meet our requirements. The card isn't very complicated and desired tags populate appropriately but formatting is a real issue. Below are some of the issues I'm experiencing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  • Regardless of the page format I select including custom, the resulting card never changes size.
    • The.length only changes based on content not on format size.
    • The width never changes, content only extends past the border and is not visible.
    • This occurs even if the layout is configured to be smaller than the custom format
  • Any image inserted (.png) will not display on the member card.
    • I'm attempting to create a two-sided card (after printing the card will be cut-out, folded over and laminated). Although I can view the image in layout, the image does not appear on the card when viewed or printed. I've reduced the size of the image to rule out that factor.
  • In the layout I cannot reduce the white space on the top or bottom of the rows in the table regardless of line height.
A screenshot of the layout and resulting card are attached.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi Jim

Working with PDF is quite difficult, unlike working with HTML because in PDF, css is not supported very well and also, many html tags are not supported

To make it easier to create the layout, I suggest you to install and enable this plugin docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/plugins/mpdf . It supports css better and should allow you to build the layout easier

Start with that and then if you still need help, we will try to assist further

Regards,

Tuan
