by default, Membership Pro generates PDF-Invoices. Now, by EU-Law, e-invoices are required.
So have you a plugin to generate e-invoices in future?

The EU-Norm for e-invoices is EN 16931:  EN 16931 compliance

Other question: If is critical for us, if we cant't update Membership Pro, because our system is Joomla 3.10.12 ? 
Yes the problemwe have. not all plugins anre updated to Joomla 4, but plugins are required for complant on DSGVO in germany
