Hi,
I tried to upgrade a J3 website to J5 in order to get all memberships pro data from the database and import them in a Real New J5 website.
But the structures of some tables changed : plans, fields...and I don't know how to do.
Please Can you help me ?
Best regards
Myann

Hi Myann
1. Just please make sure both sites are running on latest version of Membership Pro
2. Then export database tables related to Membership Pro from old site database, import it into new site database. See docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/gett...e-site-to-a-new-site for instructions
Regards,
Tuan

Hi,
that's what I made. But in the plan table, there are 95 column for J5 and 96 for the old website.
The column set_lifetime_subscription isn't in the new release. I add it in the table to make it work.
Really, do you forget this column or do you delete it ?
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Myann

set_lifetime_subscription should be available for new installation. You do not need to add the field manually yourself. Just go to Membership Pro, then Tools -> Fix Database Schema to update database schema to have the database structure up to date

I'm having the a similar issue. I have a development site running J5 and Membership Pro 4.1 , and I want to transfer the membership pro data from my old J3 site running Membership Pro 3.6.2. However, when I try to update the J3 site to Mem Pro 4.1, I get the following error:
Error
Cannot install Membership Pro in a Joomla release prior to 4.2.0
Error installing package
I am also running eShop and Event Bookings on the site. Will this be an issue with these applications as well?
Please advise.
Thanks,
Gene
** UPDATE **
FYI. I was able to update eShop and export/import the data tables via phpadmin into the new site with no issues. However, I did get the same error message trying to upgrade Event Booking.

Hi
For Joomla 3, you cannot use latest version of Membership Pro. Please submit a support ticket so that we can send you the latest version which is compatible with Joomla 3
