Venmo was created by Sevi
Hi,
This is for MP but it could be for any of the components I'm using.
Can you give me insight on how best to integrate Venmo with the payment gateway? I know Venmo is owned by PayPal - is there a way to do it that way?
Thanks,
Sevi

Hi Sevi
Use MP PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin. It has the payment method supported.
However, one limitation is that the PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin does not support recurring payment

I have a customer asking about Venmo for Events Booking. Does the EB PayPal Standard support Venmo as well?
And is the EB/MP PayPal Standard plugin the same one that is included in the EB and MP package (not purchased separately)?
Finally, how do I set EB PayPal Standard to use Venmo? I don't see any setting for that.
Thank you,
Ernie

Hi Ernie
From what I read from PayPal document, it is supported in the EB PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin and MP PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin. This is enabled automatically when users make payment, depends on where users come from (not available for every one)
These plugins do not come with the extensions by default. You will need to purchase it separately from
- joomdonation.com/payment-plugins/events-...payment-plugins.html
- joomdonation.com/payment-plugins/members...payment-plugins.html
