Coupons Code usage

I have a team that sells subscriptions. I would like to use the coupon system as a psuedo tracking system by giving each of my sales staff a unique coupon code.
Is it possible to log the coupon code into the subscriber table of the database when a new user signs up and uses that coupon? That would allow me to associate each subscription to an individual salesperson.

I found the coupon ID.... that links to the coupon table in the database. That's all I need to accomplish what I need to do.

Yes. The coupon which is used for the subscription is stored in coupon_id field in #__osmembership_subscribers table
