recurring membership with a set expiry date

All our club memberships expire on December 31, some of the members have been asking about recurring renewals. Is there any way to set up a recurring membership payment with the membership expiry to always expire on December 31?

Unfortunately, it is not possible. The reason is because for a recurring subscription, the renewal date will be determined by the date users sign up and subscription length of the plan. The renewal process is handled by payment gateway (it charges users automatically, for example, every 3 months since the sign up date), so we could not have a fixed date like that
