Generate a membership ID for existing member

Hello,

I used the membership pro for user subscription but at that time we didn't turn on the function "Generate Membership ID". So these users do not get membership IDs.

But at the beginning of this week, there is a need to generate membership ID for any subscriber. So we turn the function on.

However, now I have some subscribers with and without membership IDs. Is there a way to auto-generate the membership IDs for those existing subscribers that didn't get membership IDs?

Please login to administrator area of your site, then access to this URL:

domain.com/administrator/index.php?optio...nerate_membership_id

The system will generate Membership ID for all of your subscriptions

(Replace domain.com/administrator/ with administrator URL of your site)

Hi Tuan,

I followed your instruction and it looks like it also resets the membership ID for those members who had their membership IDs. This causes the confusion/chaos since they already know their IDs but now are re-assigned with a different one.

Any further instruction how to reset it back and only assigns the membership IDs to those who didn't get it at the first time?

Sorry Daniel. Unfortunately, there is not an option to reset it to how it was (unless you had a backup of your site or database before making this change)
