What happens to translation when upgrading Membership Pro

Hi Tuan

Il have translated into French almost Backend, system and Common languages at 4.7.0. FrontEnd was quite all translated.  

I do not want to lose any thing the when upgrading to 4.7.1.

I will any way export by FTP the files, nevertheless I would like to know what's happening at Upgrade. 

May be should I had created substitutions.

I did not make at Ticket as other may be interested by your response.

Hi Lionel

When you update Membership Pro, just update the extension, do not update the French language package and your existing translation will be kept, nothing is lost here

Better configure Download ID as described at docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/gett...on#use-joomla-update , then update Membership Pro uses Joomla updater and it will be fine

So to be more clear:

- If you download latest package and update it manually, please do not update French language package
- If you update it using Joomla updater, then nothing to worry about
