Annual subscription that continues after one year was created by Wouter
Hi,
I've set up subscription plans so that customers pay for a year and then the subscription ends.
The customer then has to go back to the website to renew for another year.
Is the following possible?
The customer initially pays for a year, and after the year is over, the subscription remains active and the customer automatically receives a direct debit for the new year.
And if this is possible, how do I set it up?
Can the customer then cancel the subscription via the website before the next payment, or can that only be done by an admin?
And is it possible to increase the price in the meantime, so that this increases with the next payment?

Hi Wouter
I do not know exactly how direct debit works, so I could not give you a correct answer. If you want recurring behavior like that, you will need to create a recurring subscription plan. Then payment gateways (like PayPal, Stripe...) will charge users automatically each year. Each time payment gateways charge users, it will inform Membership Pro so that Membership Pro knows about the payment and renew the subscription automatically
But the price will be determined at the time users sign up. If you want to change the price later, you will have to find the subscriptions from payment gateway and change the price from there. You cannot change price in the plan settings and have it updated to all existing subscriptions of that plan

Tuan
