Offline payment - Activation Mail was created by Heike Palmer
Hello there,
when a costumer select offline payment he get after submitting the form an activation mail like users that want pay with paypal or other.
Then he is able to activate and has access to the site (Mediathek in example) without paying.
Is it possible to deactivate the activation mail for users they will pay offline?
We would hold the option activation mail for other payment options for security reasons.
Thanx for your help!

Hi Heike
That's normal behavior. I have the feeling that you haven't setup the restriction correctly. The right way to restrict access to something to paid subscribers only is docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/reso...ction/use-joomla-acl
Basically, instead of giving Registered user to access, you should give a higher level user group to access instead. Please think about it to see if you can adjust your setup

Tuan

Another option for your case is only create user account when subscription approved / active, see
docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/faqs...ccount-automatically
for instructions to setup

Hi Tuan,
This doesn't really help me much
/
Buyers get access to our media library.
We want to offer the "offline payment" option so that customers without a PayPal account can pay by bank transfer
and thus use our media library.
After submitting the form, customers are placed in a separate user group above "Registered."
Customers are assigned to this user group based on their subscription plan selection,
not on their chosen payment method.
The problem is that customers who select "offline payment" receive the activation email,
regardless of their subscription plan.
The "only create user account when subscription approved/active" option doesn't help either,
because we would then have to manually activate customers who paid via PayPal.
This means they wouldn't be able to access the media library immediately after registration and payment.
Furthermore, we would constantly have to check if someone has logged in.
That's not practical.
If I deactivate the "Activation Email" option, customers who have chosen "offline payment" can still log in immediately after submitting the registration form using their chosen username and password.
Without having made a payment.
/
I think there should be a way for the "offline payment" option to allow customers using this plugin to be entered into the database normally, but with the "Activation Email" option deactivated, requiring us to do this manually.
I currently have no other idea how this could work.
I hope I've described the problem clearly enough ;o)
Thanks for your help!

That is not right. If you configured correctly, user account will be activated automatically when their subscription become active, mean you do not have to activate user account for users who use PayPal for payment
