Increase Price on a Active Recurring Plan was created by Andrew Crossan
I have a client who has run a recurring annuals dues plan (Stripe plugin) at $25 for the last several years, but would like to increase the price for all future renewals to $30 per year.

I can change the cost of the plan to $30 per year, but will that only affect new members? We need to increase the price of so that all members will now pay $30 per year moving forward.

Thanks!

Hi Andrew

If you change price in the plan, it will only be changed for new subscriptions. For existing subscriptions, they will continue being charged old price. If you want to change upcoming renewal prices for existing subscriptions, you will need to login to Stripe account, find these recurring subscriptions and change the price / payment amount directly from there

Tuan

Would the price change reflect in Membership Pro if the renewal price for each member was changed in Stripe? In other words, if I went into Stripe and changed one specific clients renewal cost from $25 to $30, when I looked at my Membership Pro admin dashboard, would it show $25 or $30 as the amount paid for the renewal?

Existing records will still stay as how it is. For new renewal records, other changes in database will be needed. Please submit a support ticket so that we can discuss further about it from there. Change pricing of existing subscriptions is not easy
