PayPal Plugin included or not? was created by Malcolm Carter
When I bought Membership Pro (MP) back in March one of the key features that influenced my choice was that a PayPal payment processor plugin was included. I have only just started to develop a site using MP and I'm checking out the PayPal Payment Plugin. I see in Plugin Detail box the description reads 'Paypal Payment Plugin For Events Booking Extension'. Does this mean that it will only work if I buy Booking Events to integrate this with MP?
The attached snippets from your website features for MP shows PayPal plugin is included, but then the Payment Plugins tab suggests it needs to be bought for $24.99.
Regards,
Malcolm Carter

Hi Malcolm
Yes, it is included. You can use it (ignore the wrong description that it is for Events Booking, it is working well for Membership Pro)

That very reassuring to know Tuan,
When I took a look it seemed that the default was a Sandbox setup. Is there any doc/guide on setting it up with an existing PayPal account?
I'm working on transferring a site that uses Community Builder with CBSubs basically to get membership management and a paypal payment gateway. Grossly overkill for my needs, and MP should be a better fit.

You just need to enter your PayPal Email into the payment plugin parameter, set it to Live Mode and you will be ready. There is nothing special needed to setup
