Subscription End Date problem

Subscription End Date problem was created by Ernie
I have a client who reported that one of her members renewed a free annual plan, but the renewal extended to "Lifetime". It was returned in the emails via the [SUBSCRIPTION_DETAIL] tag - both member and administrator. Checking the renewal record, it shows 12/31/2099 for the expiration.

The Plan is set for one year, no lifetime membership, and renewal is enabled:

Renewal, free or paid, is pretty rare with my clients, so if I set it up wrong here, I probably set it up wrong for other clients. Before I open a ticket, is there anything I might have missed in the settings or configuration that might be causing this?

Could it is because you have Recurring Subscription setting of the plan set to Yes by mistake? Edit the plan, set Recurring Subscription to No should prevent the issue from happening with other renewal in the future

Recurring Subscription was turned on for all levels, but I didn't set any parameters for it. Maybe I didn't understand the purpose or how it works.

I've disabled it for every level and will notify the client.

Recurring Subscription is sometime uses for paid subscription plans so that the subscription will be renewed automatically. For your free plan, no need for set Recurring Subscription to Yes, so please set it to No as I said
