Cancellation via Stripe-hosted customer portal

Hello,

I’m using the Stripe Checkout plugin.
I’m aware that users will be able to cancel subscription from the User Profile page, which is a good feature.

Now I have a question about communication between Membership Pro and Stripe-hosted customer portal.
If users cancel their subscription directly from Stripe-hosted customer portal, will Membership Pro be notified from Stripe and be able to update the subscription status?

I hope it will, but not sure.
I want to know whether I should disable cancellation via Stripe-hosted customer portal, or not.

Hello

Unfortunately, Membership Pro does not handle that. But I do not think you have to worry about it

When users cancel their subscription, no payment will be processed anymore. So their subscription will be expired at the end of the current duration. You do not have to worry about this anymore
