Members info not appearing in Frontend Search

Hello -
I have a membership website that we use for a physical/in-person club.  Everything has been working well for a couple years.  Suddenly, memberships that are entered as Annual Membership don't appear in the frontend search.  We can enter the same exact information but choose Lifetime Membership or Affiliated Membership and it WILL appear in the search. 
At events the admins use a barcode scanner to scan the member's physical membership card which is input into the Search box and it returns the member's information to show whether or not the member is Active.  I set this up long ago and it has been working well until very recently.  Admins must be signed in as Super Users to be able to see the user searches on the website.  The admins can also manually enter new members from the frontend.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

There must be something special on your site causing the issue. For this, please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site and tell me what I need to do to see the error
