MailWizz Integrations was created by Stephen Hawkins
Is there an easy way to add MailWizz Integration?
So when I user registers through Membership Pro they get added to a mailing list at my MailWizz install.
I previously achieved this using the Interspire email Marketer but they have gone crazy expensive. For me at least.
I tried getting chatgpt to adapt my Interspire Plugin but it doesnt fetch the Lists for a user nor the fields for names etc.
Im not a developer so the API stuff goes right above my head.
Any ideas, and what would a custom plugin cost? Thanks

Hi Stephen

I guess it could be integrated by developing a plugin. However, the price will not be cheap, I'm afraid of it will be around 120$ to 150$ (just rough estimate because I haven't looked at their documentation yet)

Maybe you can use Mailchimp or maybe ACYMailing? The integration is already available and you do not have to pay for the integration

Tuan

Thanks. I would sooner get the integration.
If that's the cost, I will schedule it for a couple of weeks or so. If that's okay.
Their documentation is here:
api-docs.mailwizz.com/#introduction
I could send you the one chatgpt did for me. It's the IEM one that was altered. (The IEM one was working fine). It appears in the backend. See image attached.
It just doesn't get the info. But IU believe it connects. I got a [] connecting through my server console. (website side).

Give me a couple of weeks and I will get back to you about it, if you will do it that is.
Thanks again

I think you would most likely have to start again though if you want to add it to your component as the code has just been rewritten from the IEM one which the author stopped using some time ago. I had a developer get it working with the latest joomls (it was a joomla 3 plugin I think).

OK. Thanks Stephen. I just had a quick look at the documentation and believe we can handle the integration. So let us know when you are ready and we will discuss further about it and start the development

Tuan

Thanks, I'll open a ticket when I am ready to begin. Im just a bit swamped working on this same project for now. BUt if I find time I will get it started.
A few things to bear in mind: I dont have an ftp server on any of my servers, either the Joomla or Mailwizz side. So I presume you would only need to alter Joomla files. So you can install one of those file managers to access the plugin files okay. I have a Mailwizz account you can access for the settings, but I believe theyre already setup.

I'll be in touch, thanks again.

Don't worry, no need to have FTP account. We can install a Files Manager extension to edit code if needed
