Multiple subscription levels headaches

I have multiple subscription levels 1yr,2yr,3yr,5yr,10yr. When a subscriber has a 3yr which is needing renewal they sign up for a 1yr.
Example: 3yr expires 23/12/2024 
                 1yr starts 19/12/2024 ends 19/12/2025
Is there a better way to organize my subscription plans to have the different subscriptions levels combine? Also in this scenario AcyMailing keeps the Expired setting and doesn’t change it to Active once the 3yr expires and 1yr is Active. I have to manually go in and adjust for timing in MembershipPro and Acymailing.
Note: Using PayPal and do not use automatic renewal.

What if you just setup a single plan and allow users to choose the number of years they want to sign up on subscription form? Use this feature docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/basi...ubscription-duration should allow you to handle it
