Reducing the price for members

We have a membership form and also a training form.  All participants in the training form must either be current members or purchase a membership but as most participants are new and not yet members we currently charge a fee for training which includes the membership fee.   I have tried to set up this scenario with MP and maybe it can be done but I've run into problems.  Perhaps you can help?

  The training subscription has a fee field which simply asks 'Are you currently a member' .  If they click 'yes' we deduct $25 (we are a trusting group)  This works.  If they click no, an account is created.  So it works nicely at this point.  However, when the course is over they are still club members but have no record of this as there was no membership subscription that was completed and the field where we asked about membership is now wrong as the subscriber is now a member.

What we really need is to somehow generate 2 subscriptions (one training, one membership) from the one form.  We have all the information in the system   Is there anyway this can be done - or perhaps some other group has found a way to achieve this?

If you want to generate two subscriptions from one form, the only way is developing a plugin to handle that . There is no way to handle it in Membership Pro by default

I realize that I could have the admin export the training subscriptions - they all come within a short time - then modify them some and import. This seems not too much trouble for the admin. When things settle down I might look at developing a plugin although I have never done that!

OK, that works, too, but require some manual works for admin. But it should be fine if admin can handle it
