Change member from "Active" to "Expired" automatically. was created by OTWD
Firstly apologies if this ha been answered before but I cant find any solutions in the forum / docs.
I have setup a test subscription plan
Subscription Length: 1 day
Price: 0.00
Expired Date: 15/05/2024 (Tomorrow)
Lifetime Membership: No
Renew: Yes (1 day)
I have now registered a user:
The subscription page: administrator/index.php?option=com_osmembership&view=subscriptions
Shows: Start Date / End Date 14/05/2024 - 15/05/2024
And the user has a green tick (Active) status
Does this mean that tomorrow on the 15/05/24 the user will automatically have their status changed to "Expired"?
If yes, what time does the expire status kick in?
Thanks for answering this basic question.

Hi
Yes, it will become expired on tomorrow. The time it changes depends on what time there is someone access to your site (even bots, search engine crawler)
There is a system plugin which is triggered each time there is someone access to your site. It will check and update status of the subscription records every 20 minutes.
But you should not have to worry about it. It could be few minutes later, but that should not cause any problem
Regards,
Tuan
