recurring direct debit payments

Which payment plugin for Membership Pro is best suited for recurring direct debit payments? Both in the frontend and when creating manually as an administrator in the backend.

1. Recurring payment is only possible when users subscribed from frontend of your site. It is not possible to create recurring subscriptions from backend of your site by administrator

2. Honestly, I don't know what payment gateway support direct debit payments. Membership Pro supports Stripe Checkout, and I think that payment option support direct debit payments. However, I would suggest you to contact Stripe support and ask them to make sure Stripe Checkout support direct debit as you want

thanks for the clarification.

Subscribers should also be able to be added in the backend with the SEPA Direct Debit payment method. A simple approach would be to duplicate the offline payment module and rename it to sepa payment. Now we could create the three mandatory fields as custom fields and collect the entries both in the front and backend.

Would this approach work or are there problems here?


There is a payment plugin for WooCoomerce which even generates the corresponding XML file

To be honest, I don't understand exactly how SEPA Direct Debit works, so I could not answer your questions. 1. You can go to Membership Pro -> Payment Plugins, publish the offline payment plugins.

2. Then go to Membership Pro -> Emails & Messages, you can setup the messages for each additional offline payment plugins
