Notification emails confusion

Notification emails confusion was created by B McNamara
I am new to the Extension but not new to Joomla, and I am assisting a non-profit with managing its site.  In the MP documentation, I was not able to find specific guidance for the problem we are experiencing.

Sometime in August, 2023, e-mails were no longer being received by people who should receive them.

I looked at the MP Configuration and found the addresses to which notifications should be sent.  They are all active e-mail addresses.

Then I looked at the Sent Log.  It shows 4 notifications were sent -- but addresses in the log do not align with the addresses in the Configuration panel's notifications "to" field.

How does the actual sendmail function work?

Where would addresses NOT in the Configuration panel's "to" field be picked up?

Hi

In each subscription plan, there is a Notification Emails setting, too and if the email entered there, it will receive notification for subscriptions of that plan instead of the global notification emails

Basically, the settings in the plan will take higher priority compare to the setting in Configuration

So in your case, maybe the emails is configured inside the plan ?
