Defer payment until application approved

Hi Tuan

We want to approve membership applications but we don't want the applicant to pay until the application has been approved. Is there a way of turning off the payment area of the application form other that using CSS?

Unfortunately, it is not possible. There is no option in the extension to allow approve membership before allow users to make payment

Each subscription record will require a payment method selected (for payment processing), so you cannot hide payment method selection using css

I have set the default payment method to Offline so the application is accepted OK and marked as Pending.

However, the client is considering doing away with approved applications so I think the problem has gone away. If not I will use CSS to hide the payment area.

Ah, OK, that could work. I guess you will then use Request Payment feature to ask subscribers to make payment if it is approved ?
