alternative captcha

Hi,

Apparently we are obliged to use the captcha of google with MP. If I disable the captcha-Recaptcha plugin of J! Then the MP registration form displays an information message to reactivate it.
Using Google's captcha is very annoying with the RGPD (France and Euro) to be compliant
is there another solution like hcpatcha, Friendly Captcha? Or maybe you envisage an evolution on this side?

Hi Phil

That's not right. You can install and use any captcha plugins you want. As long as it works for your Joomla, it will work well with Membership Pro

From Joomla extensions directory extensions.joomla.org/tags/captcha/ , you can try to find and use any captcha plugin you want.

Hello Tuan,
I have been using hcaptcha until now but I don't know why the captcha has become invisible in the registration form.
I had to deactivate "captacha" in the MP configuration

My joomla is up to date (4.4.0) and MP 3.4.2

Honestly, I don't have any clue because I haven't really looked at how hcaptcha works or implemented

Could you please try to use a different captcha plugin like the one comes with Joomla core to see if it works ?

Hello Tuan,
Here are my different attempts to try to resolve the problem with the hcaptcha plugin
- Deactivation of the plugin - the captacha is still displayed..
- uninstall the plugin - the captcha is still displayed
- New installation of the freshly downloaded plugin - still same problem.
- Deactivation of pugin + activation of "Captcha-Recpatcha of GG" The 2 plugins are displayed...except that the one of GG works

This phenomenon occurs for the Acymailing and Membership Pro components. The latter, the author does not understand the problem.
The plugin works well with RSForms Pro
