Membership Pro Purchase Button Vanished?

Could you please edit your plans, make sure Subscribe Access set to Public ? Maybe you set it to a custom Access Level, so only users with these access levels can subscribe ?

Thank you, that appears to have fixed it.

However, purchase upgrades the user from "registered" to a "members only" user group for members only access areas of the website - I thought that was where the new user group should be set under "subscribe access"?

We have just rebuilt our website from scratch on Joomla 4 and finding it all quite different (and hardwork!) since Joomla 3!

No, Subscribe Access only control who can subscribe, not access level users will have when they subscribe for your plan. If you want to give subscribers certain access level, use Joomla groups plugin, see membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/joomla-groups-integration

There was no change compare to the version for Joomla 3. Maybe you were using older version on Joomla 3 and Subscribe Access got you confused. That setting was introduced sometime ago, for about one year or more, I believe (could not remember exactly the time)
