OS-PayPal plugin was created by David Unwin
I have had a report form one of our users that when they try to Pay for his membership by Credit Card, It is always taking them to PayPal. He does not like using PayPal, but has not closed his account with them.
This user says he has a PayPal account that uses the same email address as the one he is using for Membership Pro.
I must admit I have not heard of this issue in all the years I have been using Membership Pro with the OS-PayPal plugin.
Can anyone think of why this should happen?
Thanks
David

Hi David
I don't know what's the actual issue here? When users choose to use os_paypal payment plugin for processing payment, they will be redirected to PayPal for processing payment
Not sure what's wrong here ?

Hi Tuan,
I am not sure what is going on here either. I have a PayPal Account and I was able to access the credit/debit card function, so not sure why my 2 users cannot? very strange.
I notice there are 2 Membership Plugins for PayPal (paid), I am wondering whether these are better than the standard one that comes with MP.
Can you tell me the difference between the 2 plugins? see screenshot
Kind regards
David

Hi David
MP PayPal standard Checkout using latest PayPal API and it is recommended by PayPal these days. However, it does not support recurring subscription yet
So if you need recurring subscription, please keep using the standard PayPal payment plugin come with the extension out of the box
Sometime, PayPal disable credit card payment for certain conditions, but it does not have any clear documentation about it
