Can't access Membership Pro on backend

What Membership Pro version you are using? Sound like you are using a very outdated version of the extension and it is not compatible with the PHP version you are using on your site

Update to latest version of Membership Pro should solve the issue

It looks like we have version 2.0.7.

I got our Membership Pro download ID from your site--but we can't plug it into Joomla because we can't access Membership Pro on the backend.

Is there a way to access a current-version update file directly?

You need to have an active subscription to be able to download latest version to update. From our record, you purchased the extension from 2016, so your subscription was expired long time ago. You need to go to joomdonation.com/joomla-extensions/membe...ip-subscription.html , purchase the extension again and then you can update to latest version of Membership Pro

After we bought Membership Pro in 2016, within the following year it seems you issued multiple updated versions. We received none of these updates.

We have no way of knowing, but: I humbly suggest that, if we'd received version updates within a year after our initial purchase, perhaps our installation of Membership Pro would still work.

That said, might you consider giving us a discount on a new purchase of Membership Pro?

I don't remember about that very outdated version. However, long time ago, we implemented update notification, so when you access to the extension dashboard, you will see new version notification and can update to that new version from administrator area of your site. We don't send newsletter each time new version release because we don't want to spam customers with those emails

I just checked our system and found that you purchased the extension on April 2016, so you will be allowed to update up to version 2.8.3. You can submit a support ticket and we will send that version for you to try if you want. But I'm unsure if it is still working with the Joomla PHP version you are using, it was released more than 5 years ago
