Expired Group Members showing on Active Members List

Expired Group Members showing on Active Members List was created by David Unwin
On Menu Item Members List we set to only show Active members.
However, the list is showing Group Members whose membership has expired. The Group Holders do not show as we would expect.
I checked in the back end to make sure these Group Members were in fact expired and they are.
See screen shots of Menu Item options, Output and an example of group member who has expired.
You will see the expiry date of September 2022 when these memberships expired.
Any ideas?
