Update credit card was created by Mark
On this page:
joomdonation.com/joomla-extensions/membe...ip-subscription.html
It say you can update credit card data for recurring subscriptions
I see nothing in the User Profile section and there are no instructions. How do you do this for Paypal?
Thanks,
Mark

Hello Mark
See membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/subscr...s#update-credit-card to understand how subscribers can update their credit card. However, this feature is not supported for PayPal payment plugin because PayPal (website payment standard) does not have an API to allow us to update credit card

That explains it. I searched the docs for "credit card" and it gave no results.
They can cancel recurring before their membership is expired and still have access to protected content till the end of their membership?
What will happen if they renew with a new credit card before the end date? It will have to create a new subscription?

Hi Mark
Yes, because they paid for that period. So the membership is still active until the end of duration, not terminated right after they cancel the subscription.
Not sure how they can renew subscription before it is expired? If it is a recurring subscription, Membership Pro will prevent subscriber to renew unless the current subscription expired. The reason is because if we allow them to renew too early, they might end up with two separate subscriptions, and being double charged.

I thought of that after writing that.
Subscription expire and renew seems to be the only option.
We pay a lot for Paypal Pro, but I understand their limitation for non-paypal accounts.
Thanks,
Mark
