User can delete own account? was created by Elaine
Hi
I have not found an option in Membership Pro that gives the user an option to delete their account - which would, in turn, delete their Joomla account as well. Could someone please let me know if I have missed this option somewhere. I was using F90Delete your account, but this has not be upgraded since 2016. It also is listed in the upgrade to Joomla 4 check list as possibly causing problems - so therefore I have disabled it until I find out more info. It would be good if MembershipPro came with a button on the user's edit profile page to do this.

Maybe you can send me a copy of F90Delete your account plugin which you are using? It he not updated the plugin since 2016, I don't think he will convert it to Joomla 4
So I'm thinking that it might convert it to Joomla 4 (if it is not too complicated) for customers to use

Thanks for the quick reply Tuan (but then you are also fast to reply
)
F90DeleteMy Account works by deleting Joomla account, and a message is sent to Admin advising of this. If I remember correctly, Membership Pro can update information in Joomla User Manager, but it only works one way, which means if F90 works in Joomla core, it wouldn't delete Membership Pro (or for that matter Acymailing users).
I don't know what F90 are doing as their website is down for maintenance. Comments on this page: extensions.joomla.org/extension/delete-my-account/ say this plugin has been abandoned also someone says:
'I NOT use for Joomla 3 and 4. It is a plugin to be redone or to be removed from the JED'.
You might still be able to download it on that page.

Hmm
The site is down, so it is not possible to download that plugin anymore to see exactly how it works

I will go through my old files and back-ups to see if I kept a copy, but might take a while.
