Email and Username to log in and Login and Logout text

Hi Tuan 

I have imported our users onto the site with all their information but not their passwords and I want them to reset their password. I see that the user at the moment can only log in using their Username but I want the option of being able to log in using both username or email for their account is this possible. I have checked it in the setup but I think I have the wrong form enabled. Can you help?

Also I want the user to log in and land on their profile with the top menu text that says member login/logout to say My account once logged and then with the option to log out much like yours is set up. Can you please advise how I can do this please?

=> This login process is handled by Joomla. I tried to search for a plugin which could be used to handle that extensions.joomla.org/extension/access-a...uthentication-email/ but the plugin is still only works for Joomla 3 only, not Joomla 4 yet. You can try to go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Use Email As Username config option to Yes, then check everything again to see if it works for your need ?

=> I don't really understand your question. Usually, you might have to make two menu items:

- One to link to User Login menu item type. This menu item has Access set to Guest so that after Login, the menu item won't be displayed anymore
- One menu item to link to Logout menu item type. This menu item has Access set to Registered so that it will only be displayed after users logged in

When you create a menu item to allow users to login (or using login module), there is a parameter inside the menu item or in the module called Login Redirect

Select the Membership Profile page for that parameter (you should create a menu item to link to user profile page before choosing it) and it should work well
