Reminder mails are not send

If it ain't broke, don't fix it
Reminder mails are not send was created by Konstantinos Albanidis
Has anyone has the same issue?
I have already opened a ticket about that.
With or without cron and after many tests no reminder email is send.
Checking logs tools--> Email logs there is no reminder send even though the plugin shows to respond everytime i run the cronjob changing the "last run time".
I already checked and created even second custom field setting it to receive emails but with no luck. No email is send to any of the emails added and even the admin email.
