Payment gateway question

I have installed Membership Pro and wish to have recurring payments. We are setting up an account with Athorize.net., on the website for purchasing Membership Pro it states "Right now, there are only 7 payment plugins support recurring subscription: PayPal, PayPal Pro, Authorize.net (AIM), Stripe, Stripe Checkout, Mollie and PayFast."

But there is no payment plugin available to purchase for Authorize.net (AIM) only Authorize.net SIM will this payment plugin work for the recurring payments. Is it the same at the AIM version?

Hello Nickly

The os_authnet payment plugin comes with Membership Pro by default is Authroize.net AIM payment plugin, and it support recurring payment. You just need to use it, no need to purchase any additional payment plugin

Thanks that answers my question, but I see that Authorize.net AIM is now deprecated. So I do no wish to use that if it is being phased out. Do you have a recommendation for a payment gateway that will support recurring payments.

Hello

Where do you see Authorize.net AIM is deprecated? If you want want to look for a good payment plugin with recurring payment support, Stripe would be the best choice

Hi Tuan

Here it states it developer.authorize.net/api/upgrade_guide.html

Am I reading that right? Or is it fine to still use as Authorize.net is my preferred option.

I guess you can still use AIM for now. I will try to upgrade our payment plugin to use their new API in the future
