Restricting maximum size of upload in custom fields

I have a few upload custom fields in the membership form and need to restrict the size of the upload, as the admin emails do not arrive if the attachments are too large (even though the form appears to be submitted to the user).

I see in the custom field parameters I can select "Max size" as a 'Data Type Validation' option, which then changes the "Validation Rules' field to "validate[required,maxSize[12]]" - What does the 12 mean here, is that 12Mb? Can this be set to anything wuithin the limits  of the server?

Secondly, as I have a few upload fields in the one form, is there a max size validation setting for ALL uploads in total (eg if three uploads exceed say 10Mb)

That's used for different purpose. I have to check documentation but I remember it can be used for checkbox custom fields to limit maximum number of options could be selected

Ok thank you Tuan, would be great if you can add it in the future. The problem is significant because the user thinks their subscription has been submitted and received, and the system will take their payment BUT then does not inform the admin as the attachment is rejected, thats a potentially big issue, thanks.

I just implemented this option in the extension. If you need it, download latest package, upgrade it to your site. Then go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Upload Max File Size to the value you want and the file upload will be limited to that configured file size
