Membership Pro question

Hi 
I have just purchased Membership Pro to use for a membership site I have built on Joomla 4 I am aiming to use the recurring payment option, the site is still being built but I have a question re. the payment plugins available for recurring only. We use eWay and I note this is not an option for recurring payments. Please could you explain why this is and is there a workaround this at all without having to switch payment gateway companies.
