To limit the time for registration was created by Luca - Associazione Ferrari
Hello,
I would like to set a plan start January 1st and finish December 31st but the user can register to this plan only from january 1st to March 31st. After March 31st users can no longer register.
Is it possible to set this condition?
Many thanks
Regards
Luca

Hi Luca
Unfortunately, we do not support this condition, so it is not possible. There is a workaround to setup, however.
After 31 March, you can edit the plan, set Subscribe Access to a high access level (like Special or Super Users) and normal users from frontend of your site could not subscribe for the plan anymore

Thanks Tuan,
I would like to avoid to change manually the access level at every registration expiration date.
Do you think this behavior will be implemented on the new future releases?
Thinking in the opposite way, do you think is possible to set the plan from January 1st to March 31st and extend the validity period to December 31 only for already registered users?
Many thanks

Hi Luca
Honestly, this is the first time I heard about this request, so I don't have plan for support it in any near future.
If you need it, I'm afraid of you will have to customize the code yourself to handle this requirement. The method you need to customize is canSubscribe in the file components/com_osmembership/helper/helper.php
