I am using the Stripe Checkout plugin for Membership Pro. The webhook URL, events and signing secret are all configured.
I am running into an issue:
Subscriptions to recurring plans offering a free trial period are remaining at 'pending' status after the checkout session is completed with Stripe (the subscription is captured successfully on Stripe and billing due at next cycle). Subscriptions to recurring plans where a payment is taken up front by Stripe are changing to 'active' after completion as expected.
Can you please advise if this is expected behaviour?
Ideally I would like the subscription status to change to active as we restrict content to those with an active subscription and the free trial period should allow them access to that content. Also I would like the Joomla confirmation email to send but this does not happen when the subscription remains at pending.
