Price and Tax rules was created by David Unwin
Just a quick clarification in respect to tax on subscriptions.
I think I am right in saying that if you need to charge tax on subscrptions then the amount you specify in the price field should ALWAYS be NET of tax.
for example if you subscription fee  is £55 and the tax rate ins 20% the price should be set to 45.83. Then when the tax rule is applied tax of £9.17 will be charged (45.83 + 9.17 = £55).
The only reason I ask this is that in Events Booking you can set the price to be inclusive of tax via an option. But I don't think there is the same option in Membership Pro.

Hi David

In Membership Pro, you will have to setup price without tax included. We do not allow setup price including tax like in Events Booking

Tuan

Hi Tuan,
Thanks for the clarification. It was our accountants who asked the question.
I can now confirm what I thought the situation is in respect to tax.
Kind regards
David
