I have attached some examples of messages for renewal of subscription of members that show that internal messages from an association are interpreted as spam and trigger a Non Delivery Report by Gmail.

In short, we just use Joomla API for sending email. At the end, it's up to mail server of your hosting provider to deliver the email. If it could not be delivered, I guess you will have to contact your hosting provider and ask them to check it
