After upgrade - getting multiple emails

I have just upgraded from 2.11 (i think that was where it was) to the latest 2.26.3
The office tell me they are now getting multiple emails "Admin Email Body" through as though people have just subscribed, these are not new subscriptions.
Hopefully this isnt also going to the members. Is there anything specific that might be causing this please?

I don't really understand the issue. When admin receives this admin email?

You can set Log Emails config option to Yes so that we can monitor emails sent from the system. You can then go to Tools -> Emails Logs inside the extension to see what emails are sent

Immediately i did the upgrade the admin email address was flooded with loads of "Admin Email Body" emails which they haven't normally received. these weren't new members they are already subscribed

To be honest, I have no clue how it could happens. Normally, these emails will only be sent when someone subscribes for the plan

We do not have any code which sends email during update, so I don't have any clue why emails were sent like that

The office got about 60 emails today when they normally get between 1-5 a day, apparently these are members who would have automatically renewed today, so at their renewal the component is sending out that email - how can we stop that please?
Is there a log that i can check perhaps?

You can go to Membership Pro, then Tools -> Emails Logs to see all the emails sent from the system.

OK thanks i can see that these emails are all "recurring" plan confirmation and were sent to Admin and Subscribers.
there were about 60 sent yesterday, only two so far today so maybe yesterday was a bit of anomaly, i will keep an eye on it

They are still coming in thick and fast to admin and subscribers, how do i turn these off please?
we only want new ones to be emailed not all the recurring emails?

Hello Richard

Strange you don't want to receive email when a renewal happens. In this case, you can go to Membership Pro -> Emails & Messages, find and empty the value of the two items below:

- Subscription Renewal Admin Email Subject
- Subscription Renewal User Email Subject

When you do that, the renewal email message won't be sent to admin and subscriber

Thanks Tuan - these subject fields are already (have always been i believe) empty but the emails are still coming?
