Limit membership renewal emails

Hi.

My site uses Membership Pro for its subscriptions, most members use GoCardless, which means I don't need to send them renewal messages. How do I stop these going out the these plans, but keep the renewal messages for subscribers who are on a yearly renewal paying via PayPal?

I don't understand your question. You want to disable renewal messages for subscribers who use GoCardless, or subscribers from specific plans?

Please explain more details about the question so that I can understand and give you the answer

Hi,

I have just started using Membership Pro this year.
I have a number of subscription plans, most are setup to use GoCardless & so run as a "lifetime" subscription, but still have an end date set to the end of the current year. These are obviously set not to need renewing, but they still get reminder emails as this seems to be a default.
I have one plan which is for non-UK members (who can't use GoCardless), & this uses Paypal. These I need to pay annually, so that plan is setup to recur. I do want reminder emails to go out on this plan at year end.
Does that make more sense?

In this case, you need to edit the plan which you want to disable reminders, set the following parameters to 0:

- Send First Reminder
- Send second Reminder
- Send Third Reminder

When you do that, reminder will be disabled for these plans

Ah ok, I presumed this meant that emails would go out on the day of renewal? If that's not the case, I'll set these all to zero.

Set it to Zero will prevent reminder emails from being sent. So for your case, just set these all to zero for plans which you want to disable reminder
