Reminder email sent ... why?

Reminder email sent ... why? was created by Christopher Slee
Membership Pro is sending out reminders to renew even though
-- Enable Renewal is set to NO
-- Recurring Subscription? is NO
-- Send First/second/Third Reminder is set to 0 days Before ...

It sent out the first reminder, then I changed all the "First/second/Third Reminder" to 0 day ... it seems to be obeying the old settings? are they stored someone else behind the scenes?

What gives? what am I missing? 
Is this a bug?

If you set it to 0 days, the reminders email won't be sent. Maybe you have a copy of the site running else where (with the First/Second/Third Reminders set to a number different than 0) and reminder emails are sent from that copied website?

So ...

why doesn't the ["Enable Renewal" NO] setting block reminder messages?

I have a feeling, though I cannot prove it, that these messages were triggered from a 2018 plan that did not have the reminder days set to 0.

Would unpublishing the Plan block reminder messages being sent?

Hi

Set Enable Renewal will just prevent users from renewing for the subscription. It won't prevent reminder emails from being sent. All you need to do is set First/Second/Third Reminders to 0 and reminders emails won't be sent. No need for unpublishing the plan
