I have around 5 plans that are monthly re-ocurring plans.  Each plan is either 4 month long or 6 months long.

First month we want to charge $499
2nd month - 4/6 months we want to charge $400.

I have the price set to $400 and using the set up fee (additional deposit amount) set to $99 totaling $499 for the first month, and $400 for the next X amount of months.

It looks great, but the issue is the subscribers/parents are signing up for multiple plans at once or signing up their other children under same username.  The renew button appears and when they click on it, the Set Up Fee Disappears and only charges them the $400 vs $495 for the first month.

Any ideas on whats the best way to make this work?  Do I disable the renew button feature?  I did that, but it doesn't allow them to register their other child for the same program.

Thanks

Honestly, I don't see a way to handle this requirement.

1. In Membership Pro, we do not have a way to allow one user to have multiple independent subscription of same plan. When you subscribe for the same plan for second time, the system will treat it as renewal, not new subscription

2. The setup fee, as you configured, is only added for first subscription. For renewal, setup fee won't be added to total subscription fee

Also, if you allow adding new child via renewal, the subscription duration for that child subscription is not right, too (because it is handled as renewal, so from date is usually be end date of last subscription + 1 second, not from the date which you renew as expected)

So for this case, unfortunately, the only way is using a separate account for each child subscription

Other solution is try to see if group membership could be used to handle this kind of subscription, see membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/advanc...res/group-membership

Ok thanks. I think I will just create a NOTICE at the top telling parents if they are registering more than one child for the program, they will need to create a new account with unique email.

Thanks
