Membership structure with Siblings

Hi Tuan,

I volunteer at a children's football club.  We are looking to use Memberhsip Pro to allow Parents to pay £20 per month for their child to play at the club.  We will use a Custom Field, team_name, to allow the Parent to specify which football team their child is on.  This is used to track what teams are paying and what players are paying.  So we need to ensure that we're capturing this Custom Field, team_name.   That is the easy part with no issue.  Planned Payement Gateway is Stripe.

However, we also have parents who have more than one child playing at the football club and the club offers 50% discount so child 1 pays £20 per month over 12 months and child 2 pays £10 per month over twelve months.  Again we will probably need to add a second Custom Field, team_name_2, to capture the name of the team the second child plays for.

Which setup would be best for the above scenario?

Solution 1
Category - Player's Subscription
Plan A - 1 Child £20 per month for 12 months
Plan B - 2 Children, £30 per month for 12 months
Solution 2
Plan A - 1 Child £20 per month for 12 months with a Plan Upgrade option to £30 per month for extra child

I'm leaning towards Solution 1 above as it allows to have two seperate custom fields in place - team_name & team_name_2 which are necessary.

Would appreciate your thoughts on this in terms of any pros and cons as this will be my first time looking to use Membership Pro 

I think you can use solution #1, it is more clear and easier for parent to choose the right plan for them
